Academics
At Hamshire-Fannett Middle School, academics provide the foundation for student success while preparing learners for the transition to high school and beyond. Serving students in grades 6-8, our campus fosters a challenging, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and personally.
Our comprehensive curriculum builds upon the skills developed in elementary school while introducing students to greater academic rigor, critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world applications. Students receive instruction in core subject areas, including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, while also exploring a variety of elective courses that encourage creativity, collaboration, and career exploration.
Beyond the classroom, Hamshire-Fannett Middle School is committed to developing well-rounded individuals. Students are encouraged to become responsible leaders, effective communicators, and confident decision-makers through meaningful relationships with teachers, participation in extracurricular activities, and opportunities to build character. Our faculty and staff strive to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive campus where every student is empowered to reach their full potential and prepared for success in high school, college, career, and life.
